Charlie Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Exploring Mystic star deltaworlds We arrived in the capital, but it wasn’t the destination. After landing in the North Arctic capital, the Equinox shuttle was retained and we were transferred by orb to a settlement near the world stargate instead of the city itself. That wasn’t a delay or a snub — it was protocol. From here, the city is visible but distant. The gate is close. We can leave the world if needed, but we can’t move freely within it. What happens next isn’t ceremonial. There’s no throne room waiting. This phase is quieter — a test of judgment and restraint. Do you wait? Do you explore the local settlements? Either choice says something. For now, we’re observing… and being observed. Quote
Charlie Posted December 21, 2025 Author Posted December 21, 2025 Edit We arrived in the North Arctic capital — Emerald City, but that wasn’t where we stayed. After landing, the Equinox shuttle was retained, and we were transferred by orb to a separate location entirely: an island settlement in the world ocean, positioned near the world stargate. This isn’t a nearby district. It’s not adjacent to the capital at all. Emerald City remains in the north. The orb brought us to a remote island — deliberately distant. That separation matters. From the island: We’re outside the capital We’re near the gate We can leave the world, but not move freely within it This wasn’t ceremony or politics. It was routing. What happens next isn’t announced. It’s observed. Do you wait in place? Do you explore the local settlements? Either choice says something. For now, we’re steady, contained, and aware that distance itself is part of the test. Quote
Charlie Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 (edited) Mystic and its related worlds turn 22 on March 24. In 2004, Mystic first came online in Outerworlds — a small island where a castaway drifted ashore. Today, that beginning has grown into a universe spanning multiple platforms. Charlie Posted Saturday at 17:43 Author Posted Saturday at 17:43 Mystic World / DeltaWorlds Update The stargate has opened to Starscape II. The monks have acquired their first starship — Starscape — named for the homeworld they lost. Since 2019, they've been refugees aboard DS9, without a world of their own, dedicating themselves instead to the Universe Fleet and building an advanced scanner array there. Why it matters: It's year 4326, and now — for the first time since losing their home — the monks have both a ship and a new world to call their own. New here? Jump in — but the crew's only here for a limited time, so don't wait too long. This world runs parallel to ours — same point in time, just 2,300 years further along Quote
